Things have been going well over the last week – Dylan lost her second tooth and had a fun hair appointment with her friend, Bridget.
She continues to be holding steady from what we can see. She will be having surgery this week to have an ommaya catheter put in. This goes into her left ventricle and will be used in Mexico for treatment. The hope is that by using the catheter, they’ll be able to target the areas potentially causing some of her mobility issues. This catheter is also required by the CAR-T trial. Surgery is Thursday, so send all the good vibes her way that day.
It sounds like a relatively easy surgery, but it’s still brain surgery. In the meantime, we’ve just got to keep her healthy as everyone around here is dropping with colds and flu! 😷 Thank you all for ongoing support and love! 💗💗💗
