I’m Casey, the oldest sister. I’m a typical peacekeeping, type-A firstborn, though I think I’ve mellowed with age. I still detest conflict. I’m a mom and a pharmacist, and I enjoy exercising and constantly battling my sugar addiction.
I met my husband, Jeff, in pharmacy school and we’ve been married since 2003. We had our son, Mason, in 2010 and our daughter, Dylan, in 2014. We are business owners and life was rolling along nicely until August of 2018, when a bomb dropped on our lives.
On August 8th, 2018, Dylan was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), a rare, incurable brain cancer. She’s currently battling, defying the odds at over 15 months. We’ve had to quickly learn what’s important in life and to appreciate every tiny moment of joy.
I’m working on choosing joy in life and finding growth and purpose from pain. I love baking with Dylan and I’m a product junkie. I am no expert, but I look forward to sharing our creations and some of my product finds with you.
