I’m Jamie, the middle sister. I’m a typical middle, open minded, independent, and laid back.
I work as a dental hygienist in the non-profit sector after 11 years in private practice and I love the new environment. I met my husband, Brandon, when I was 30 and married him at 33- we have been married 6 years now as of last August. Brandon works as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Seattle. We have an 8 lb., 4-year-old cat who is a grouch to everyone except me- “Cranky Frankie”- and a 70 lb. 8-month-old Bernedoodle “Benny”, who loves EVERYONE.
We were hoping to start a family right away, but life had other plans. We have been on our infertility journey for 6 years now. I have learned a lot along the way. I thought that grieving the child I may never have was the most painful thing I would have to experience until August of 2018. Dylan’s diagnosis has forever changed our family’s perspective on life and how we choose to navigate what is given to us.
I continue to hope for a child, and we will turn to science again this next year with the help of Lindy and her youthful eggs. I enjoy cooking, anything outdoors, and am attempting to become a yogi. I look forward to sharing my story and hearing all of yours as I continue on this road of mine.
