I’m Lindy, the youngest of the three sisters. Casey was 8 and Jamie was 5 when I was born, so it seemed like I had three moms. One of my fondest childhood memories is when Casey got her license at 16 and was able to take me back to school shopping, where I danced my way around the dressing room! I also managed to embarrass Casey and Jamie a fair amount, particularly during their teenage years in front of their friends. 😊
Fast forward to the present day, and I work as a pharmacist (as in many things, I followed in Casey’s footsteps). I have been married to my husband Mark, an occupational therapist, since 2010. Our daughter Penny was born in 2013, son Oscar in 2016, and son Archer in 2018. I certainly didn’t plan on three kids in less than five years (that last one surprised us a bit!), but I’m learning to embrace the chaos, or at least trying to. I am a type-A personality and very much into organization, so it is a challenge for me!
We lived in Eastern Washington, a 4+ hour drive from Jamie and an 8+ hour drive from Casey, until the summer of 2019. When Dylan was diagnosed with DIPG in August of 2018, both Mark and I knew we were too far away and wanted to be closer. We now live just minutes away from Casey and her family and about three hours from Jamie. Our entire perspective on life changed on 8.8.2018, and we now we are all learning to navigate the world after Dylan’s diagnosis.
