We wish we weren’t doing this.
Not exactly the type of opening post they suggest in Blogging 101. But now that we’ve made you feel so welcome, let us explain.
We wish we were humming along in our day to day lives, never giving a thought to putting our innermost thoughts out there for anyone to view on the Internet.
We wish there was nothing noteworthy to share.
But, here we are.
Private people by nature, we are ready to share.
We are ready to share the struggles, the grief, the joys, and also the mundane with you.
We are living proof you can have all of the above coexisting in the same moment.
And we are doing this as much for ourselves as for any reader. Writing is therapy for us, and the catharsis of getting all those swirling, restless thoughts out of our heads and onto paper is freeing.
So while we may wish our circumstances were different, that we never had the idea and especially the experience to start a blog chronicling a devastating childhood cancer or a decades long fight with endometriosis and infertility, here we are.
We have learned that love is stronger than anything and joy is always there, but you have to choose it.
We hope you come along on this ride with us, sharing your struggles, grief, joys, and mundane along the way.
We can navigate this, together.
